A G.A. Dentzel of Philadelphia pattern horse in the style made famous by one of their renowned carvers Daniel C. Muller. This horse incorporated the military trappings designed after the old U.S. 10th cavalry style It is in fact a combination of the military horses circa 1917 and the cavalry horse circa 1909. The horse shown is full size, at 5ft 6in (166cm) high by 5ft 2in (158cm) in length.
Daniel C. Muller is one of the most famous carvers who worked for Dentzel and is responsible for carving rugged horses with strong characteristics.
