A faithful reproduction of the head of the cavalry horse carved by D.C. Muller for the Dentzel company of Philadelphia in 1917. I have extensively researched design particularly those based on the American Philadelphia style from the Dentzel company, whose work was influenced by Daniel C Muller. Also the Philadelphia Toboggan Company who were rivals to Dentzel. Their work being heavily influenced by John Zalar the carver responsible for ensuring the proportional detail of their work |
